picture fun

Staci tagged me to this a while back! This was easter in 2007. We had snow!! In TEXAS! My sister and I HAD to go out and play in it! The only time is snows is most random! We made little snowmen and mom, Laura, and I had lots of picture fun!!

So now I am supposed to tag 4 other people to do the same thing.. Go to the folder where your pictures are stored. Pick the 4th folder and post the 4th picture!

While we were in Texas, Laura and I decided we wanted to shoot cans with the BB gun and of course we had to take pictures!!

Heading back to work tonight, dang. I think this week off was the best and most lazy week I've had in a long, long time! I made several decisions this week though...

1. Another 1/2 marathon. When? April. Where? Dallas. I think I want to be like those people that run marathons in all 50 states...only 1/2 marathons. There's NO way I could run 50 marathons. Hopefully one though! Plus, that's a good way to travel, right?

2. I'm going back to the Dominican Republic in June! Only going for one week this time, but I'm pretty dang excited! We're going back to the same place we went to last year and I really enjoyed my time there!

3. Don't really have a 3, but I felt like there needed to be one!

Week in TX

The week after Christmas, Clay and I flew to Texas for a week. Here's a Texas style greeting:

My sweet friend Sarah, who I will run a 1/2 marathon with (and Katie) in April! I'm so glad we got to have dinner!

Of course, mom had to have a family picture. The only good one was the first (isn't it always that way?) and happened to be in our living room. Laura and I got a little creative at the end!!
I had forgotten how Granbury has nothing to offer the "under 50" crowd after dark. It was a relaxing week, we played some disc golf with my bro. Dad, Lee and Clay played golf while mom, Laura, and I hit the shopping. There was mexican food eating, food poisoning, can shooting with BB guns, lots of football watching and cookie eating, and tons of laughs!! I'm sad to report that the picture taking was inadequate and we don't have much documentation of this outing!

2009?

I did it last year and wanted to do it again. My 2008 summarized in pictures! I can't believe how quickly time flys by!! Here's a picture for each month!

February: Mercedes 1/2 marathon. My goal: Not to walk...I didn't!

December: It was very hard to pic just one picture for this one, but December was full of laughs and family time!
Gotta keep remembering to take pictures when I go places, I guess I did a little better this year!
